The new years day dive held by the dive team was a great time, we had nice weather ( 48 air temp) and pretty good water. With the water temps. 39-40-42-44 take your pick, not everybodys computers read the same, and vis at 5-10 feet and alittle bit of surge. So all and all it was pretty good.
We had afew first timers for the inlet on the dive. but with a dive briefing and alittle help from some dive team members, a safe and fun dive was had by the new guys.
Sinkers, lures and all kinds of fishing gadgets came up with the divers, afew bottles also came up. But the find of the day was a gold wedding band, with the date of 5-6-58 stamped in it.
After the dive it was back to the first aid building for some of sue lewicki ( dive team member) pumpkin soup and flo melo( also a dive team member) turkey chili. But the food of the day was tom's wife chocolate cake.
So if you didn't come you missed out on a good time! But there is always next year.
