I got a chance the other day to visit Indian Valley Scuba’s new facilities, since I haven’t been over to see them since last September due to work and all I figured I’d take a trip over and check out their new shop and location.

When I first walked in I immediately went right over to their technical section where they had the Poseidon Rebreather on display, even though I have a rEvo on order I was still curious to see what the Poseidon was all about. It’s a pretty neat unit and for roughly $6300 “ready to dive” it might be a good fit for some on a limited budget but still want a good Rebreather for recreational diving.

Dave gave me the complete tour of their new shop which included their large training room and library as well as their modern setup for doing tank VIS/hydro’s (hydro’s are done right on location!), fills and equipment repairs and maintenance. At that time I mentioned that I had several tanks that needed to have their annual VIS done so out of the back of my truck and into Roy’s hands they went! Next I mentioned that I was looking at getting a new DUI CF200 and before I knew it John was having me try one on and then taking my measurements and going over options, talk about service!

By the time I was out the door my tanks were done and I was walking out the door with a new DUI CF200 on order and 4 new Faber 19’s for my rEvo.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out their new location and shop it is well worth the trip. They are very friendly and extremely helpful; on top of that they have an extensive training program.
