My regs went in for service two weeks ago, and I knew a couple of the hoses were in pretty sad shape. Instead of replacing them with standard rubber hoses, I decided to replace both the BCD inflator hose and my drysuit hose with the Miflex hoses, and am I happy I did. They bend, twist, turn, etc....without any issues. Now I intend to replace all of my hoses with Miflex as $ allows (since they are a little more expensive than the regular hoses). I wish I did it sooner, when I actually had some extra cash.

So far I have replaced one hose (my drysuit inflator hose) with a Miflex hose. Definitely worth the expense, I will be replacing the rest as $ allows as well. Hope to dive with you soon Mike

I have already bought miflex hoses for my long/short hose configutration But i didn't think there was much reason for the BCD/Drysuit do you guy's feel it's worth the added expense or something to do only as an upgrade when existing hoses begin to go?

I guess it would be a matter of personal preference. But, I think the Miflex hoses due to their flexibility give you a little better mobility and also are easier to configure. Just my .02ยข

Steve,

The hoses I replaced were showing signs of dry rot and crimping. It was time to replace them anyway, so I spend the extra $ for a better quality product. It also makes it easier to pack my regs, since I no longer have to worry about how those hoses lay in the bag.
