Hi, I'm new as well. My wife and I took an introductory course on our Honeymoon in Cancun, unfortunately she was not able to complete the basic training needed just to go on the reef dive. However, I made it through and got my Open Water Certification, but since diving turned out not to be for my wife I'm looking forward to meeting/finding buddies to dive with. I'm eager to expand my abilities and gain the experience and training needed to get my Advanced Certification so I can wreck dive.

weav151,

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad to see you joined. There are many places you can get your advanced certification, and we LOVE to wreck dive. Many of us tune up our diving at Dutch Springs before heading offshore, so if you want to get yourself ready for the wrecks, get the AOW, and then post on here when you are heading up. Chances are someone else is heading up there too.

Again, welcome.

Mike
