Mike deCamp is often referred to as the “Father of Northeast Wreck Diving”. He began diving the wrecks off the coast of New Jersey in 1953. Mike was the first diver to explore the sunken remains of the “Stolt Dagali”.

He and his wife now reside in North Carolina. Last month he stopped by our house in Hatteras where I had an opportunity to talk with him on camera about that first dive. You can watch the interview by clicking on the link provided.
