The dive team got a call for help by the marine mammal stranding center last monday. A manatee was trapped by cold water up in linden NJ. The manatee was in an outfall line of a refinery. This outfall line had warm water coming out of it, so the manatee was making it its new home.
The refinery called the stranding center and a rescue was planned.
