Thats pretty interesting. I wonder if I'll ever get the reply to the inquiry I sent to the person who made the post on Korenwar.org with the same person's name. Only time will tell.

That piece is one of those rare finds, so keep it well.

Good looking item and appears to be something that was used to store items at sea and with the selection of compartments it may have been used to measure something like gunpowder, etc, or even the most important "COFFEE"!!!
