If anyone gives a rats behind, I'll be at Dutch on Saturday morning for a few dives. I'm trying out my new neck seal on my drysuit. I'll be at The Scuba Connections tent if you want to join me for a few leisurely dives.

I'll be there at 8, and then need to set up. Come to the Scuba Connection tent area and ask any of the staff for Mike Bender. If I'm in the water, I won't be more than an hour from the time I went in. I'm doing at least two dives, so we should be able to meet up. Cool.

Well, you both missed some decent dives. For dive #1 I met up with Kevin, a fairly new diver with 15 Dutch dives under his belt. I got to use the Dive Rite LED canister light from the "Dive Rite Day" tent for a trial run. Unfortunately we didn't get as deep as I wanted to in order to give it a real test. The dive was short but sweet. Dives 2 & 3 were with Mark, clearly an experienced diver, and we made the circuit around the lake. Lots of midwater swims, lots of this and that, and when it was all said and done, I think I had an hour and a half for all three dives. It didn't start raining until I was in the car heading home. The main reason for me going was to check my new neck seal out, which was fine. Now I found out that my zipper is on its last season  I'll make it last through the summer and fall and then take care of it.

Well sounds like a good day of diving. Sucks sounds like the suit might be getting old or just used alot which could be a very good think. Will you be getting a new one or just fixin the Zipper. Well I am trying to work it out so i can make it there tomorrow. The car is still Packed. And already Rented the Tanks so hopefully i can get there to atleast use them. Probably wont get there till bout 12 and will do 2 maybe 3 dives Depending on times.

I heard they were supposed to have rebreathers there. Can anyone try these out?

You could just tell you had the itch Mike. Glad you were able to get out there and three good dives at that… Make sure you keep that zipper nice and lubed for now so you can stretch it out for the season. Let me know when you are headed back out.

Well luckily i was able to make it there today and had to the oppertunity to take out Diverite New optima Rebreather. But i decided to pass on it. It looked very cool and interting kinda wish i would have done it now but ran out of time. Either way we did 2 Little lesuire dives on to the Platform which we did mid water swim to and got there Very happy and went to the school bus and back. Then attempted to Mid water swim to the Helicopter and well didn't do so good. Was close but enough had to surface to find it we wound up bout 20 feet past it and about 10 feet off lol. But went back down visited the Helicopter and headed back.
