I do not have the dry gloves and dive in almost freezing water every year. However, it is true that my fingers are the first to get numb. On another note, an hour in 37 deg. F water is quite enough for me. Usually one and done as the gear tends to freeze as soon as you exit. So remove gear quick and...

Surely shirely if there is something to poke you are on it. You would be proud of me as I too poked a fish this weekend. I caught a huge Dutch Koy fish sleeping and thought of you. I just had to do it. Poke I did. AND cleaned the goose poop off the platforms with my trusty 10 lb. broom.

Vis at Willow is terrable and its like a max depth of 40 ft. Bainbridge is much better for vis and is max depth of 120 with many attractions. It is however, very dark and cold. Some boats may not let you on if you do not have it. I would not take the chance of not having it. I have seen divers take a hit even when they dove the plan. Now that is interesting, after I posted the words neck injury became underlined and when the mouse moved over it a pop up balloon asked me if I was looking for injury and told me where I can find it. Ah no thanks.
