We got out today with a group put together by Ernie Rookie. First stop was one of the NW barges where many lobster were reported and several keepers came up. It was reported that there were lots of shorts and you had to weed through them to get keepers. Lots of fish reported also. 25 ft of vis and w...

We got out today and found relatively calm seas with just a hint of fog. The first stop was the Vivian which gave up several lobster and some sea bass. Bottom vis about 25 and temps in the high 40s to low 50s. Saw a few other dive boats out there today. I think it was the Dina Dee on the Maurice Tra...

Well we got out today and found excellent conditions. Since it was looking good as we left the inlet we headed out to the ridge. First stop was the East where we had about 20 ft of vis and 47f. Lots of lobster and sea bass came up. Second stop was on the South Ridge where we found an infestation of ...

The Lady Godiver got out today and we had to deal with some pretty thick fog by the inlet. Once we got out about a mile or two it opened up to about 1/2 mile or more of vis. Our first stop was the Inshore tug. Some lobster and sea bass came up. 15 ft of vis and 48 degrees. The water had a hazy quali...

We got out today and were greated by a 5 mph north wind and 1 to 2 foot seas. We headed up to the Pinta which we have not visited yet this winter. The bottom vis was a dark 10 to 15. No good sized fish and NO lobster but plenty of mussels and several new anchors. Next stop was the NE Sailor where we...

We left the dock today with an moderate East wind and slighty rough seas. We figured we would head into it and see what happened. Our first stop was the Cobblestone wreck in about 90 ft of water. The vis was in the 15 to 20 ft range and the water temp was either 43 or 48 depending on the computer yo...

We took a chance and went out today. Since the weather forcast stated West winds I figured we could stay close and hit some shallow sites. Our first stop was a natural rock structure off long Branch where we have done well with Blackfish in the past. As we approached the area we found several fishin...

We left the dock today just before 8am. The sun was out and there was a light wind from the West. We planned on making our first stop on the Delaware if it was open. We got lucky and there was no one on it so we quickly hooked up. As soon as we dropped the hook a few fishing boats came by but took o...

We got out today and headed North in the hopes of getting some Blackfish now that the limit has been raised. Our first stop was the Bellholder Wreck where some lobsters were taken. I went in after everyone else came up and told me there were very few large Tog. When I got to the bottom of course the...

I got the boat to the Marina behind the Shipwreck grille just before 8am and Jack and John were there to give me a hand setting up the lines. By 8:30 we were heading out the inlet. The seas were about 3 ft and 5 seconds apart (not too bad). We figured we would do something easy and close so we heade...

Well we got out today and were greeted by a 2 to 3 ft. chop. The wind was out of the South at about 10 to 15. Not bad surface condtions but not as good as we hoped for. Today we were planning on looking for some low lying wood wrecks so any swell would make it more difficult. We proceeded to try any...
