Join us for a Night Dive at Shark River Inlet:

Wednesday, August 5th
Be ready to Dive at 8 p.m

Required Equipment:
Dive Lights – Primary, Back up, and Tank Marker
Dive Knife
Underwater Slate

This dive can count as your first dive towards your Night Diver Specialty!

mike have you personally ever dove this inlet at night. i would love to dive it but i have never done an inlet dive so im thinking a night dive wouldnt be so great for learning.

i dont know i would like to but sadly all my gear is up home because i was going diving up at dutch soon. i am going to see what i can do, i hope i can.

if i can get my stuff together in time what do you think i should bring just an aluminum 80 or a steel lp. also what about weighting, you want to be overweighted correct?

You definitely want to be a few pounds heavy for this dive. An al80 is fine, and so is a steel tank.

As long as I can get off from work Wed. night, I'll dive the inlet Wed. night and then Dutch on Thursday. I have to work Thursday night. :cry:

I believe I will be there. I'll find out for sure if I get the night off when I wake up on Monday afternoon. I'll let you know.

I'll be there as long as I am given off Wed. night. I'll know the answer on Monday afternoon. I'll let you know. If I do go, I'm also diving with Jeremiah, who is a fairly new but very competent diver.

Thats ok with me. I still consider myself a new diver also well thats because i am. There may be one other going with myself and Steph if we make it up there but i will let him know once i hear back from you.

as of now i dont think i get things together so quickly. i really want to get out and dive this inlet sometime this summer though hopefully soon.
